Turin Shroud

Shroud of Turin

My aim for this adventure was to care less about where the car eventually broke down and live the here and now and all that. Except that we also had a mission - that the car should expire where it first began, in Turin. This blurred philosophy was made no clearer by a small Karate Elvis which I took as my religious dashboard icon.

Co-pilot Mark had already booked a holiday and flights to Italy but chose to put his faith in the Strada. He risked it all because he was blessed with a larger share of Magic Sprinkles. Mark's performed many miracles, including levitation, and his likeness appears on the Shroud of Turin. Mark supplied several bags of crisps, acquired in a petrol station in Dover.
